Directed by Dennis Smith

Written by Robert David Port

The team descends into some madness when working with a conspiracy theorist (Josh Gad) exposes each of their own beliefs while a stranger saves an agent's life.

Tropes for the episode:

  • Conspiracy Theorist: Naturally, given the episode title. Roy McGill is basically a walking fountain of conspiracy theories. It's also revealed that both Larry and Amita give at least some degree of credence to conspiracy theories (Larry justifies this by pointing out that there have been genuine major conspiracies, which would seem to validate at least keeping an open mind) and that David believes in JFK assassination conspiracy theories.
  • The Cuckoolander Was Right: Played with. In a very general sense, McGill was right that the GEO's leader was corrupt, but he didn't have any of the details right. In the end, it's more like dumb luck; given how many people McGill was eyeing as part of his theories, he was bound to eventually hit on one who was actually slimy.
  • Who Shot JFK?: A subplot of the episode deals with Colby and David debating who was really behind JFK's death. Later, Alan tells them about he and a few other friends had the same debate (to the point where he made a small mock-up of the crime scene). It got so heated, that none of them have spoken to each other to this day.
