As the Tournament of Elements enters its second day, Chen and Clouse conspire to get the Ninja eliminated by pitting Jay and Cole against each other—in more than one way.

- Jay and Cole make peace, both Kai and Jay have made it past the first round of the tournament, and the Ninja have begun to recruit Neuro to their cause, but Cole has been eliminated.
- On Zane's end, he has found P.I.X.A.L. and restored her mind in his head, but P.I.X.A.L. herself has been dismantled.
- Heroic Sacrifice: Non-fatal case; when Chen forces one of them to win, Cole grabs the Jadeblade but throws it to Jay, getting himself eliminated.
- Killed Offscreen: P.I.X.A.L. was dismantled between Seasons 3 and 4, though Zane restores her mind by uploading her into his head.
- Smoke Out: Ash's powers allow him to become a cloud of smoke. Kai exploits this during their fight by baiting him into using them to dodge an attack, giving Kai an opportunity to take the Jadeblade with Ash unable to stop him or take the Jadeblade himself due to being intangible.
- Tempting Fate: Chen announces the Elemental Masters set to fight that day and gets through five of them with no mention of any of the Ninja. As Jay remarks that the Ninja get the day off, he announces Kai.
- Wham Shot: The Elemental Masters find that the brackets have been altered to put Jay and Cole against each other.
- Wimp Fight: Jay and Cole invoke it after making up in an attempt to stall the fight. Chen gets annoyed and tries to eliminate them both, forcing one of them to win.
