Michael is send to check up on a Guardian, given that Nikita got to two of them already. He sends Nikita in before, as it would be suspicious if she just turned up when he did.
However, it turns out that the Guardian, Dana Winters, is dating a local sheriff and has become the step mother to his son. Division agents arrive and threaten Dana's stepson, which leads to her killing them and running away with her family.
Meanwhile, Jaden visits Alex in her flat. Alex has told Nathan the truth about her job, but he does not believe her. When Jaden realizes this, she attempts to inform Division. Alex fights her, during which Nathan shoots her and runs away. When Alex calls it in, Amanda reveals that Jaden's cochlea implant recorded everything and she knows that Alex is Nikita's mole.
