"Kryptonite" is the second episode of New Girl.
After breaking her new roommates' television, Jess attempts to get her stuff back from Spencer. Meanwhile, "old" fourth roommate Winston attempts to manipulate Schmidt into giving his larger bedroom back.
Tropes in this episode:
- Extreme Doormat: Jess with Spencer: she agrees to everything he says, not just during her emotional state post-breakup but implied during their relationship too. Odd, because she's usually quite able to stand up for herself.
- Overly Long Gag: Schmidt asks Jess which position makes him look the sexiest, and demonstrates posing on his bed, by his desk, and on his armchair. Nick and Jess make him do it multiple times until he realizes they're teasing.
- Title Drop: Nick about Spencer: "This guy is your kryptonite. You need to stand up and you need to fight him."
