Arc Length: Chapter 700
The final chapter takes place 10 years after the conclusion of the Fourth Shinobi World War, and acts as a closer as to what had become of the prime, and supporting, characters that settled down into everyday life after the war.
- Babies Ever After: Most of the surviving characters had children by this point.
- Book Ends: All over the place which is fitting since this is the Grand Finale of Naruto.
- The first and last chapters of the series are called Naruto Uzumaki!! after the titular character. Although unlike in the first chapter where Naruto was an outcast who desperately dreamed of being the Hokage, in this chapter he has achieved his dream and has been acknowledged by the world as its hero.
- Both the first and last chapters have the son of a previous Hokage vandalize the Hokage monument in order to get attention. Unlike in the first chapter however, where Naruto was unaware that his father was the Fourth Hokage, Boruto is well aware and is vandalizing the monument because his dad is so busy at work.
- The first page of the Naruto manga showed a stylized illustration of the Nine Tailed Foxes attack on the Hidden Leaf Village ending with the Fourth Hokage sacrificing his life to seal the Fox inside Naruto. The last page shows a stylized illustration of the Ten Tailed Beast's attack during the Fourth Shinobi World War with the narration noting that the boy with the Fox Spirit was able to stop the attack and became known as the Seventh Hokage.
- Didn't See That Coming: Choji ending up with Karui.
- Distant Finale: The last chapter takes place fifteen years after the events of Chapter 699 and thirteen years after The Last: Naruto the Movie showing what the surviving characters have been up to now that peace has been achieved for the Shinobi world.
- Earn Your Happy Ending: Naruto becomes the Seventh Hokage (after Kakashi resigns from being the Sixth Hokage) and the world enjoys an extended period of peace. The members of the main cast also manage to have families — Naruto himself finally has one of his own with Hinata.
- Grand Finale: Considering that this is one of the "Big Three" anime/manga (the other two being Bleach and One Piece), the finale will be suitably huge. However, the actual conclusion to the manga occurs in The Last: Naruto the Movie.
- Hypocritical Humor: Naruto scolds Boruto for vandalizing the Hokage monument, something he did when he was Boruto's age. Granted, it was an important day. He also notes the hypocrisy in Konohamaru scolding Boruto for this, as he was no better when he was a kid too.
- Walking the Earth: What Sasuke ultimately ends up doing.
