Go To

After discovering a Navy pilot's body riddled with unusual wounds, NCIS' investigation draws the team into the rabbit hole of UFO conspiracy theories.

Tropes:

  • Dead Guy Junior: Dr. Daniel Silcott had modeled and named the A.I. "Kaiden" after his deceased seven-year-old son.
  • I Cannot Self-Terminate: Unwilling to allow himself to be used as a weapon, "Kaiden" asks his father Dr. Silcott to input the kill code to deactivate him. Silcott is reluctant to do so as "Kaiden" was modeled after his deceased seven-year-old son. A weeping Silcott eventually types in the kill code and loses his son all over again.
  • Never Got to Say Goodbye: Although heartbroken at losing his son twice, Dr. Silcott is grateful that this time he got to say goodbye to him.
  • Offing the Offspring: At "Kaiden's" request, Dr. Silcott tearfully types in the kill code that erases his son so he would not be used as a weapon against his will.
  • Outliving One's Offspring: Dr. Daniel Silcott had a seven-year-old son Kaiden who died in a car crash. He modeled and named his A.I. after his deceased son in an attempt to bring him back.
  • This Is Reality: When Tim suggests the victim was killed with bullets made out of ice, Jimmy tells him that there's no way ice can be strong enough to shatter through human bones.
  • The Unreveal: So where did that element 116 come from?
