Tropes:
- Cliffhanger: None of the Mane Six want to end up hurting each other's feelings, having realized that isn't how friendship works. Just as they are ready to quit, the games have commenced leaving all six ponies divided and forced to compete against one another. Cue happy credits music.
- Mood Whiplash: Following the episode's cliffhanger mentioned above, it immediately cuts to, "It's a sweet, magic, fast, posh, fun, cute, pony life!"
