"Following the notes of Mage Meadowbrook, Fluttershy and Twilight Sparkle search for an elusive flower that could possibly cure any ailment! But as the search turns into an obsession, Twilight risks losing the flower forever!"
This issue provides examples of:
- The Cameo: Ambiguous example — a Dragoness who heavily resembles Mina can be seen among the Fillydelphia populace.
- Guest-Star Party Member: Cattail and Zecora join in on the quest. Later, Aqua Vine's descendant joins in on the quest as well.
- Forgot About Her Powers: When Twilight Sparkle is unable to fly to the Magenta Bloom, it fails to occur to anyone that she could use her telekinesis to retrieve it. While Twilight is shown to be letting her excitement stop her from thinking straight, this doesn't stop her from using telekinesis on her saddlebags.
- No Name Given: We never find out the name of Aqua Vine's descendant.
- Poor Communication Kills: Mage Meadowbrook failed to find the Magenta Bloom because she left Aqua Vine Locked Out of the Loop when he could have pointed out her mistake.
- Ship Tease: Cattail and Agua Vine’s descendant get along really well. He even chooses to stay a little longer in Fillydelphia.
