Recap / My Little Pony 'n Friends E10: "The End of Flutter Valley 10"

Go To

As the heroes face down Ahgg, Megan realizes they don't need to go around him when they can just go under him, and gets the stonebacks to dig a tunnel into the valley. This is slow going but, as the witches celebrate their imminent victory, Sting and the green furbob arrive alongside the buswhoolies, the furbobs and Baby Cuddles, providing the extra digging power needed to get in. Once they emerge behind Ahgg, the tunnel collapses behind them and beneath the beast, scaring him into running off. Once the heroes arrive with the Sunstone, the witches quickly lose heart and flee, with a raving Hydia being dragged off by her daughters.

The ponies haul the Sunstone back on its pedestal just in time for it to catch the last few minutes of sunlight, allowing it to start regenerating the valley's plant life. Just as this happens, however, Queen Bumble and her swarm arrive to take the Sunstone back. She and Sting struggle over the stone until Queen Rosedust defuses the situation by pointing out that, if the bees quit trying to steal their relic and enslave them, the flutter ponies would be perfectly happy to just let them come to valley to pick the flowers they need. Queen Bumble admits that this is a pretty reasonable plan and she and her followers depart alongside Sting to go back to their home.

The witches have returned by now, however, to send one last parting shot. They conjure a cloud to block out the sun, as without this last chance to absorb sunlight the Sunstone will power down forever. The flutter ponies rally to their home's defense and, with the Utter Flutter, manage to dispel the cloud and send the witches rolling off to the horizon. As the episode concludes, the ponies resume their celebrations, safe in the knowledge of having dispelled the latest threat to their homes.
