Izuku and Todoroki continue their battle against Hero Killer: Stain, with Iida joining the fight as the effect of Stain's Quirk wear off. Endeavor and Gran Torino defeat the remaining Nomu and take control of the situation.
Tropes:
- Big Damn Heroes: Endeavor sucker-punches a Nomu that had the drop on some pros, letting them regroup and withdraw while he handles the Nomu.
- Died Standing Up: Downplayed, but Izuku's narration reveals that Stain hadn't died right after giving his monologue— he had only been rendered unconscious from a pierced lung.
- Horrifying the Horror: Endeavor, an intimidating Pro, is among the whole of the group cowed by Stain's manic rant.
- Killing Intent: Stain's menacing rant and approach to the heroes is emphasized by the red and black aura surrounding him and billowing straight in their direction. It even causes some of them to fall on their knees.
- Off with His Head!: After realizing the black Nomu has a Healing Factor, Endeavor goes for a kill-shot and incinerates the Nomu's head.
- The Only One Allowed to Defeat You: Stain refuses to surrender to whom he views as "false heroes". He proclaims that All Might is the only one "worthy to kill him".
- Villain Has a Point: Iida acknowledges that Stain was absolutely right: he wasn't trying to stop Stain because it was noble, but because he wanted revenge for his brother.
- Villainous Rescue: Stain rescues Deku from a Nomu that tries to fly off with him.
- Walking Armory: Stain, with his enormous number of blades. Even after Deku, Todoroki, and Iida have searched him and think they've gotten all his weapons away, he turns out to have at least one more on him.
