Slips arrives at school to see the gang acting extremely weird. Adam explains how everyone ended up the way they did, via flashback, detailing the events that transpired the day before, while Slips was absent.
- Absurd Phobia: Windsor's fear of puppies.
- Achilles' Heel: We learn the weaknesses of every gang member, and a few side characters.
- Adam: Sounds like a girl.
- Jake: Needs glasses.
- Slips: Has feelings.
- Windsor: Afraid of puppies.
- Lupe: Dependent on Corey.
- Ingrid: Everything.
- Bull: Turns into a bull moose every Wednesday.
- All of the Other Reindeer: Jake was shunned from the group, when he started wearing glasses. Contrarily, Slips was shunned from the lunch room, when he was the only one ''without'' a weakness.
- Breaking the Fourth Wall: When Adam gets an idea, Jake notes that he usually does at that point in the episode.
- Can't You Read the Sign?: Jake was guilty of falling down the stairs in a "No Falling Down the Stairs" zone.
- Continuity Nod: Windsor is afraid of puppies here, and in "Mellow Fellows", it was established he was afraid of kitties. Apparently, he fears all adorable little house pets.
- Fireball Eyeballs: Jake had these, when he didn't wear his glasses.
- How We Got Here: Slips missed a day of school and finds everyone acting strange. The episode is mostly Adam relating the events of the day before
- Hypocrite: Slips shunned Jake for wearing glasses, despite him having previously worn glasses in the episodes "Bad News Bear" and "The Ivy League".
- Leaning on the Fourth Wall: Adam's weakness is that he sounds like a girl. He does have a female voice actor.
- Nerd Glasses: Jake's new glasses, which he wears for this episode only.
- No Peripheral Vision: Jake has horrible eyesight without glasses in this episode. So bad that he did a series of stupid and destructive stuff, like mistaking Joanie's butt for a lunch menu, using Hank Porcupine as a comb, falling down the stairs in a "No Falling Down the Stairs" zone, and pooping in the teacher's lounge.
- Out-of-Character Moment: Everyone gets this, at the beginning of the episode.
- Whole Episode Flashback: This whole episode was told through the perspective of Adam explaining to Slips what happened yesterday at school while he was absent.
