• Bad Job, Worse Uniform: Adam worked as a sign twirler, for a car dealership. If that isn't bad enough, he also has to wear a stupid gorilla costume.
• Callback: On the school bulletin board, a help wanted ad, advertised Bull's tutoring services. This is a reference to "One Lump or Tutor", where Bull was forced to tutor Adam on stalking animals. Apparently, some events came about, that got him to continue with the tutoring job.
• Character Development: We learn that Windsor is a die-hard fan of musical celebrity, Jimminy Japoopy, and has been ever since he was a baby. A flashback also showed him going a bit overboard at one of his concerts, jumping up on stage, and hugging him, getting him banned from going to anymore of his concerts.
• Fantastic Racism: The implications behind "gorilla costumes" being offensive to gorillas, is basically a stand-in for Blackface being offensive to African people.
• Finishing Each Other's Sentences: The pack did this, when berating Adam for his supposed "gorilla hate."

• Five-Second Foreshadowing: Windsor doesn’t laugh at Adam when he said he likes Jiminy Japoopy.
• Fool for Love: Adam was putting himself through this horrible job, just so he could make the money to but Jimminy Japoopy tickets for Kerry.
• Loony Fan: Windsor is this to Jimminy Japoopy.
• New Job Episode: This is the only time we'll ever see Adam doing this sign-twirling job.
• Out-of-Character Moment: Windsor acted very uncharacteristically enthusiastic, at Jimminy Japoopy's concert, completely losing his mind and expressing way more emotion than he normally would.
• Paper-Thin Disguise: Windsor's human costume.
• Public Exposure: Windsor was a nude model for Miss Loon's art class.
• Pun: To add insult to injury at Adam's bad job, with the worse uniform, Adam was forced to make horribly unfunny puns too.
  Adam: I go ape for deals. No monkeying around. We're practically gibbon cars away today.
• A Taste of Their Own Medicine: Windsor dressed up as a human, to show Adam how it felt to have his species appropriated. Adam didn't seem to care, though.
