• Accidental Misnaming: Jake kept calling Henry names like "Henrietta" and "Harriet".
  Jake: Adam, you gotta check this out. Harriet is amazing.
  Henry: It's Henry! Hen-ry, Jake! You know that.
  Jake: Not now, sweetie. Jakey's talking.
• Literal Metaphor: Jake blows bubblegum bubbles through his ears, until Windsor bursts his bubble.
  (Jake blows bubbles with his ears)
  Jake: I'm practicing my act for the talent show.
  Windsor: Uh, Jake, didn't you get banned from the talent show, for what you did last year?
  (Jake's bubbles pop)
  Jake: Thanks for bursting my bubble, by bringing that up, Windsor.
• Noodle Incident: Jake was banned from the school talent show for his performance the year before. When Adam asks happened the year before, Lupe just gives him the impression that it wasn’t very pleasant.
• Performance Anxiety: When Henry first got on stage at the talent show. He got over this quickly.
• Singing in the Shower: This is where Jake discovered Henry's musical talent.
• Talent Show: Where Henry got his ticket to stardom.
