Jake gets Adam sent to detention with him, so he can show him something really awesome.
- Affably Evil: Bruce Dingo and the others are quite bright and chipper for the guard dogs of detention.
- Bottle Episode: This episode really only had 4 characters in it. Adam, Jake, Pixiefrog, and Bruce. Mrs. Warthog made a cameo for 5 seconds and had no lines, but that was it. Also, 96% of the episode was either in the detention hall or in Jake's basic cable show studio, with only occasional short scenes taking place in the hallway and Pixiefrog's office.
- Bigger on the Inside: Although CDMS is already a pretty big place, How Jake was able to fit an entire basic cable access show studio somewhere in the school, without anyone knowing is beyond me.
- Cassandra Truth: Principal Pixiefrog completely disregards Adam's protests that he had nothing to do with Jake's prank.
- Comically Missing the Point: Principal Pixiefrog loves the Basic Jake show, finding something about the leads oddly familiar.
- Detention Episode: This episode semi-mainly took place in detention.
- Guilt by Association Gag: Principal Pixiefrog punishes Adam and Jake for something that only Jake did.
- Hidden Depths: Adam gains the ability to balance plates pretty quickly.
- Motor Mouth: Bruce Dingo talks so fast and with an Australian accent full of foreign slang, that nobody can understand a word he's saying.Pixiefrog: ... whaaaat? ...
- Sanity Slippage: As the audience starts to favor Adam over him, Jake starts to lose it and eventually succumbs to complete insanity. Note that the "audience" is a Laugh Track controlled by a remote that Jake himself is holding.
- Throw the Dog a Bone: Adam ends up enjoying being on Jake's show (Jake's bout of insanity notwithstanding) and pranks Principal Pixiefrog so he can do it again next Saturday.
