This episode provides examples of:
- Apathetic Citizens: Mr. Bean ruining the magic show as he's so obsessed to find his watch, yet not a single person but Irma give any kind of response.
- Early Instalment Weirdness: One of the few episodes to magnify Bean’s weirdness, by having his television lose signal when he approached it within a certain distance.
- Downer Ending: After trying to spend time with his girlfriend at a club, Mr. Bean realizes that Irma would rather dance with some random guy than him. Though he gets some measure of revenge, in that he cuts the power to the club.
- No Peripheral Vision: Taken to hilariously absurd degree with the Magician Assistant (named Monique in the credit), as she was so focused with her duty that she didn't respond or even realize that Mr. Bean pulled her hair in his efort to find his watch.
- Showgirl Skirt: The magician's assistant's outfit.
- Something Only They Would Say: Bean identifies the camera thief by putting a bin over the heads of all the suspects and jabbing all of them with a stick to see if he can recognise the noise the thief made.
