Recap / Moshi Monsters Welcome To Jollywood

Go To

Welcome to Jollywood is the sixteenth Moshi Monsters mission and the sixth mission of Season Two.

On the Rhapsody 2, Captain Squirk informs you that the ship is almost ready to leave, they just need their last crew member Splutnik who is, according to sensors, somewhere in Jollywood. He sends Dr C Fingz with you to help because he can use his psychic powers to help find Splutnik.

In Jollywood, Dr C Fingz has a strong reading from behind a poster which reads "Bobbi Singsong". (P.S. Clicking the J on the Jollywood sign will get you an E.P.I.C.S.) Clicking the poster reveals a locked door. A blue Snuggly Tiger Cub says that it is the door to Bobbi Singsong's yoga retreat. Your Super Moshi doesn't know what's going on, and so the tiger cub explains that Bobbi Singsong is a huge celebrity in Jollywood and that you've just found his secret yoga retreat but he only lets in monsters with a "jolly good taste" in music. Dr C Fingz is keen to investigate. Click on the record player and he will tell you it's missing its horn. Click on the creature who looks like Snozzle Wobbleson. He doesn't want to sell the horn but he can exchange it for a red flower with six tear-shaped petals. Now, talk to the one who looks like Moe Yukky. Your monster asks if he's OK and he says (in third person, and his name's Moe Pukka) that he tried this new spice that turned him red and needs something to cool him off. Click on the watering can. Then open up your inventory (the blue bag on the far right) and drag the can onto Moe Pukka. He turns blue and gives you the spice. Now, open your inventory and drag the spice onto the blue flower to turn it red. Click the flower, open your inventory and give it to Snozzani (the shopkeeper who looks like Snozzle Wobbleson) and he gives you the horn. Drag the horn onto the record player. Now click on the record player and tap space over and over again at the right speed to get in. Now, click the door to enter.

In the retreat, a monster named Big Chief Tiny Head is giving "wisdom" to Bobbi Singsong in primitive talk. When you click on Bobbi Singsong, the Big Chief interrupts and asks who you are. When he realizes you're a Super Moshi, he leaves, apparently for his "biggum hula dance class". If you click on Bobbi, your monster will tell him they're looking for a Zoshling. Bobbi Singsong doesn't know what that is and Dr C Fingz points at a levitating creature. Bobbi Singsong says that the Zoshling is "completely transcended". You need to get Splutnik down and Bobbi Singsong says that he has a mantra that's supposed to cure deep trances but he's not sure how it works. It goes, "A smell quite right, an ear's delight, a touch so light." Click on some food cooking, which smells good. Then, click on a fan that's in the top left corner. Click on the inventory and drag the fan next to the food. Then, click to turn on the fan. Splutnik starts to float downwards. Click on a flute that's next to the soup. Then, open your inventory and drag it to the monster, who plays it sending Splutnik down a few notches. Finally, find a green feather and drag it onto Splutnik, tickling him and breaking the trance. Splutnik is confused. He asks who you are. When you explain, he thanks you and asks where his jetpack is. Then he remembers that Big Chief Tiny Head stole it and put him in the trance. When you ask where he is, Splutnik says that the chief always hangs out at the mountaintop temple. Click the jukebox four times to get an E.P.I.C.S., then click on Bobbi to leave.

At the temple, your monster asks Big Chief Tiny Head why he put Splutnik in a trance. He says that he is researching the jet pack and that the Super Moshi doesn't know who they're dealing with. Bobbi Singsong accuses Big Chief Tiny Head of fraud and challenges him to a dance off. The floor is dirty, so move your mouse to scrub it. Once it's clean, click on the missing stones, open your inventory and drag them onto the dance floor. Then, click the arrow keys to bash the bongos. Big Chief Tiny Head says that he got what he came for, and then, the ceiling with spikes on it starts to lower, and he disappears! Then, Elder Furi comes and uses his staff to save the day. Your monster starts talking to Elder Furi. If you ask where he's been, he says that he got sucked up by Scare Force One, jumped out the window using his cape as a parachute, and spent the next few months wandering around Music Island. Then, he received an anonymous note saying the Super Moshis were in Jollywood. Then, ask how much he knows about Big Chief Tiny Head. Elder Furi doesn't know much but he has C.L.O.N.C. written all over him so we must stay vigilant. He tells you that he will wait at the volcano while you return the Zoshling to his ship. Click the jet pack, open your inventory and drag it onto Splutnik. Then, collect the E.P.I.C.S. and click on Bobbi Singsong to adopt him.

In the Rhapsody 2, you explain what happened to Captain Squirk, who says he will be ready for takeoff soon.
