"Help me Reverend, for I feel guilt."

Principal Fakey is cheating on his wife with Nurse Bendy, and the guilt is getting to him. Rev. Putty is no help as he only wants to hear about the juicy details. Desperate, he turns to Orel for guidance, who, relying on what his father had told him, said that as an authority figure, he can't be doing anything wrong. Principal Fakey then confidently continues his affair. When he finds out he has gonorrhea, he concludes that his wife cheated on him and throws her out of the house. Orel feels guilty for ruining their marriage, but Rev. Putty (who's more concerned about hitting on Mrs. Fakey) tells Orel to apply the same advice he gave Principal Fakey to himself, Orel cheerfully walks away, declaring that everything's fine.

  • Foreshadowing: Clay's stance that authority figures can make any immoral act justified by virtue of being in charge, combined with his Never My Fault attitude, is one of the earliest hints that Clay could be the mayor of Moralton.
  • It's All About Me: Even before taking Orel's advice, the main reason Principal Fakey feels guilt about the affair is not because he's betraying his wife's trust, but because he's worried about how the affair will affect his reputation if it comes out.
  • Never My Fault: When Principal Fakey finds out he has an STD, he immediately assumes his wife gave it to him (when it was clearly from Nurse Bendy), and immediately storms home to throw Mrs. Fakey out of their house while calling her every misogynistic slur in the book.
  • Professional Voice Dissonance: Miss Secondopinionson briefly appears at the beginning of the episode taking a call from Mrs. Fakey, once again speaking while holding her nose. Once Miss Secondopinionson hangs up, she takes her hand off her nose and says a line in her natural voice for the first time.
Miss Secondopinionson: (deep, masculine voice) Phew, what a day.
  • Surprisingly Realistic Outcome: Principal Fakey repeatedly has sex with Nurse Bendy, who has in turn had sex with multiple men throughout Moralton. When Fakey gets his yearly physical back, he finds out that he's contracted gonorrhea from Nurse Bendy (though he's so in denial of his own actions that he immediately assumes it's his wife's fault).
