Pictured: Doughy's grandpa, being a good Christian.

Upon hearing a sermon that God's greatest gift is life and how insulting it is to squander it, Orel concludes that the deceased are sinning. With aid from the Necronomicon, Orel raises the dead and starts a zombie apocalypse.

Tropes present:

  • Burn the Undead: Ms. Censordoll's mob takes this approach against the zombies.
  • Establishing Character Moment: Each of the Puffingtons are established on the ride to Church. Orel is depicted as excited to go to church, Shapey is bouncing around in the car with every jerk of the vehicle, establishing his apparent developmental impairment, as he looks far too old to be unable to buckle his own seatbelt and is only enduring the bumps with grunts instead of talking to his parents about it. Bloberta is more concerned with her children's behavior than their safety as she failed to ensure Shapey was buckled in in the first place, and Clay is shown to be inconsiderate of his wife when he rolls down a back car window rather then his own when Bloberta is shown to not like the smoke from his pipe.
  • Hypocritical Humor: Orel strips a dead woman of her clothes because they'd reveal too much skin.
  • Mood Whiplash: A jaunty tune plays during a transition to the zombies causing chaos and misery.
  • Revenant Zombie: Played with. The zombies remember that they're Christians, but not much else.
  • Skewed Priorities: The people of Moralton don't care that Orel made zombies, but they do care that he made the zombies naked.
  • Spoof Aesop: Nudity is a special kind of evil, according to the lost 11th commandment.
  • Tome of Eldritch Lore: As you'd expect, the Necronomicon serves as a guide on raising the dead.
