Using the Magic Stone as leverage, Durahan attempts to battle and defeat Moo... and fails completely. Seeing how powerful Moo is and how much stronger he could become, Lilim quickly pledges loyalty to Moo. She destroys Durahan's frozen army and promises her new master that she will retrieve the Stone for him. As Moo is too large and powerful to retrieve the Stone without destroying it, and since he doesn't really trust Lilim after she betrayed both him and Durahan, he leaves the task to a group of loyal Weeds.
Meanwhile, Genki and his friends have been teleporting all day and all night to reach the Magic Stone. With a final burst of energy, Suezo successfully transports them aboard Durahan's Iron Bird, and they engage the general in combat. It's a tough fight, but Durahan is defeated, dropping the Magic Stone... which Lilim snatches up. She's rigged the Iron Bird to explode, and runs off with her prize.
Tiger tackles Lilim and she drops the Stone, and Genki dives for it... only for one of Moo's Weeds to catch it at the last second. With the Stone retrieved, Moo's followers open fire on the Iron Bird, setting it for a crash course into a cliff. Genki and his friends escape the inferno thanks to Suezo's teleport, while a Not Quite Dead Durahan restrains and kills Lilim for betraying him. The Iron Bird crashes and explodes.
The Searchers are demoralized that they couldn't get back the Magic Stone, but resolve to keep heading north, the way the Stone last pointed.
This episode contains examples of:
- Bittersweet Ending: The Searchers escape Durhan's ship before it's blasted to nothing, but lose the stone when one of the Weeds manage to grab it out of the air after Tiger tackles Lilim to make her drop it. They know with the stone, Moo will perfect his body and inevitably come after them again, so the only thing they can do now is follow the last direction the stone pointed and hope for the best.
- Chronic Backstabbing Disorder: Lilim was the one who suggested Durahan betray Moo in the first place, and here she eagerly betrays him for Moo.
- Curb-Stomp Battle: Despite his weakened state and the fact that Durahan cuts his life support cables, Moo handily outmatches Durahan. The only reason he doesn't destroy him then and there is because the Magic Stone would be destroyed as well.
- Gory Discretion Shot: Just before the Iron Bird is destroyed, Durahan manages to grab Lilim before she can escape and the last seen of her is Durahan about to stab her to death with his broken blade. The camera only showing a shadow on the wall of the ship then cutting to the outside as Moo's forces finish their laser volley.
- Mêlée à Trois: Between Durahan, Moo's forces (including Lilim) and the Searchers when the latter teleport onto Durahan's ship and all trying to get the Magic Stone.
- The Power of Friendship: After being defeated, Durahan cites this as the source of the Searchers' power:Durahan: I finally realize the secret of your strength. It's...your...friendship.
- Teleport Spam: In order to reclaim the Stone, the Searchers attempt to use Suezo to teleport to it. It takes them a few tries, but they eventually teleport onto Durahan's iron bird.
