After running from a pack of Salamanders, Genki and his friends arrive to a town that has a gladiator arena. They meet three Centaur warriors who serve under Gray Wolf, but agree to let Genki and his friends go if they can win three battles against them.
Hare tries the same trick he used against Tiger to win, but is overpowered and knocked out. Suezo wins a battle by accident, and Genki wins the final match, freeing the Searchers—but the Salamanders soon attack them all.
The Searchers win the day, and the Centaurs vow to protect it from Moo's baddies, even though no one is left to visit and the baddies would likely return even stronger.
This episode contains examples of:
- I Fight for the Strongest Side!: Centaur tells of how he was defeated in battle by Gray Wolf when the Baddies invaded the town, and was honorbound to serve him. When Genki and his friends defeat him, he agrees to let them go and fight against the baddies.
- Nice Job Fixing It, Villain: The Salamanders attacking during their match is what convinces Centaur to turn against Moo.
