With the approval of the Skullastic Superintendents, Monster High's just merged with Belfry Prep and Full Moon High! Awesome! But all the students of either school hate each other. Less awesome. A renowned human-monster relations expert has come to the school to help! Radical! Oh wait, he's actually an ex-Egomaniac Hunter wanting to turn the two groups against each other for his own benefit. - Does This Remind You of Anything?: The movie revolves around the tension between vampires and werewolves. Neither group is happy that vampire Draculaura and werewolf Clawd are dating each other and they even claim territories in the school and form 'empowerment groups'. An ex-monster hunter also spreads rumors about the two species, saying that werewolves have diseases and that the vampires' abilities mean they'll one day take over. Why does he do this? In his belief, so that monsters will be so busy fighting each other that they won't come after humans.
- Early-Installment Weirdness: The only 2D full length animated special, next to New Ghoul @ School. Also, Clawd calls Romulus "dawg".note
- Eldritch Abomination: Several Star-Spawn of Cthulhu are living in the catacombs of Monster High, and they aren't at all friendly to the ghouls they meet. Draculaura has to call on bats to fight them off.
- Slobs Versus Snobs: The vamps vs. werewolves, on some level.
- With Us or Against Us: The factions of vampire and werewolf that briefly form in the school follow this policy.
