"Forget-You-Not": Trini makes a care package for her mom, Joy.

- Bait-and-Switch Comment: As it turns out, Mr. Rowley has a jar of fireweed honey. Trini asks if she can trade something for it, and Mr. Rowley says no...because it's a gift for her!
- Flower Motifs: Joy's favorite flower is said to be forget-you-nots. This symbolizes true love, respect, and how she never forgets about her family, even while overseas.
- Ironic Echo Cut: Molly and Trini find instructions on how to make paper forget-me-nots, and Trini says that this will be easy. Cut to Trini remarking that it wasn't easy.
- Oh, Crap!: When Molly tells Trini that she forgot to pack the fireweed honey, and the plane takes off without in inside the package.
- Running Gag: Everyone being out of fireweed honey. This gag comes to an end when Mr. Rowley is shown to have a jar of it.
- Satiating Sandwich: While doing a video call with her mom, Trini is eating her (and Joy's) favorite sandwich — a peanut butter and fireweed honey sandwich. She wants to send fireweed honey in the care package.
- Something We Forgot: Molly and Trini leave to deliver the care package, but they forgot the fireweed honey.
- Wintry Auroral Sky: Trini wants to send a video of the Northern Lights to Joy. It's too cloudy for the Northern Lights to appear, but Trini decides to send a construction paper version of it instead.

- Power Outage Plot: Due to the blizzard, the power goes out in the Mumford house.
