With a history of giving bad gifts, Claire is determined to surprise Phil with an amazing anniversary present - a private performance by one of their favorite musicians, Izzy La Fontaine! However, it turns out to be a surprise in more ways than one. Meanwhile, Mitchell and Cameron call up their party-girl bestie, Sal, for a long overdue night out on the town.

- Creepy Uncle: Sort of. Manny had a crush on Haley, who is technically his niece. Of course, they're only related by marriage, close to the same age, and did not grow up together so how creepy Manny is will vary.
- Manchild: Sal is one, especially when she is drunk, and is referred to as essentially Mitch and Cam's "first child".
- Plastic Bitch: Sal is proudly showing off her new breast implants. She's shown to be a Hard-Drinking Party Girl and emotionally stunted, getting jealous that Cam and Mitch's daughter Lily is taking attention away from her.
