Kinue discovers that the old man from Celestial Being's video was Aeolia Schenberg, a legendary scientist from the late 21st Century who proposed the basic principles behind the solar power generation system. Tieria returns to space by smuggling Virtue on the orbital elevator. Sergei visits the HRL base on Ceylon to investigate what happened during the battle. The Union assigns Graham and Billy to a new anti-Gundam task force. Billy's mentor, Professor Ralph Eifmann is also assigned to this task force. Graham asks Eifmann to upgrade his Flag to be able to fight a Gundam. Wang and Alejandro meet to discuss Celestial Being's third mission. Alejando's assistant Ribbons greets Hong Long.
Lockon attacks a disputed South African mining site, while Allelujah burns down a narcotics crop field in Taribia. Setsuna returns to Ceylon and attacks HRL's Ceylon base. Sergei launches in a Tieran to test the Gundam's power. Sergei almost manages to rip off Exia's head, but Setsuna overpowers him and disables the Tieran.
Setsuna returns home. His neighbor, Saji, introduces himself to him. Saji enters his apartment to find his older sister Kinue leaving for work: with Celestial Being on the loose, every reporter is working overtime. Louise calls Saji and tells him to turn on the news: the terrorist group Real IRA has agreed to disarm out of fear of a Celestial Being intervention.
