The legendary matchmaking ice cream maker André is akumatized by Hawk Moth. Now, as Glaciator, he transforms people into ice cream... and they start to melt! Ladybug and Cat Noir must not get cold feet if they want to stop him.

- Heartbreak and Ice Cream: Discussed. Following Ladybug's rejection, Plagg suggests that Adrien should go on a cheese-eating rampage in order to get over his heartache.Adrien: I don't have a heartache, Plagg.
Plagg: Great! [disappointed] So then.... no cheese fest? - Hidden Depths: Marinette finds out that Cat Noir can be really romantic and sensitive. Initially, she thought he's just a playful flirt.
- Identical Stranger: A boy who looks almost exactly like Adrien, except for his hair color (brown instead of blond), appears for a brief gag.
- Internal Reveal: Marinette learns that Cat Noir really loves Ladybug (instead of just being a flirt), and Cat Noir learns that Ladybug is in love with someone else.
- I Want My Beloved to Be Happy: When Ladybug tells Cat Noir about her crush on "someone else" Cat Noir seems to accept this and leaves, and while he tells Plagg that he wants to believe that she will fall in love with him someday, he says that their friendship is his best gift yet.
- Love Confessor: Subverted as Cat Noir let Marinette guess he is in love with Ladybug...but it is her, actually, making it a proper Love Confession. Thus later on when she sees the scenery he setted up for her as Ladybug, Cat Noir does not have to speak : she acts as she already know.
- Loves Me Not: Cat Noir does a variant of it while blowing out candles. It ends on "not".
- Luminescent Blush: Ladybug gets it after Cat Noir kisses her.
- My God, What Have I Done?: Marinette near-instantly regrets her thoughtless dismissal of the power of André's ice cream.
- Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: Marinette calling into question the magic of André's ice cream is the primary factor in his akumitzation..
- Nigh-Invulnerability: Until his ice cream is melted, Glaciator recovers from every damage in seconds, even his cherry and cone.
- No Celebrities Were Harmed: In the French dub, André mentions famous couples that visited him in the past: Edith and Marcel, Jane and Serge, Françoise and Jacquesnote .
- Nonstandard Character Design: Unlike most villains (except, maybe Vanisher), Glaciator looks exactly like André, at least under his Snowlem form.
- Not So Above It All: Tikki encourages Marinette to enjoy the ice cream despite Adrien not showing, partially because she hopes to try them herself.
- O.O.C. Is Serious Business: Cat Noir spends most of the episode being moody and gloom, convincing Ladybug that his interest in her is really serious.
- Serious Business: André takes the idea of his ice cream bringing people (especially lovers) together very seriously; in fact, he's akumatized after Marinette questions its efficacy. He seems to take romance and love in general very seriously; when akumatized, he refrains from attacking any couple, and even Hawk Moth can't make him attack Ladybug and Cat Noir when they're pretending to be one as well.
- Ship Tease:
- Cat Noir and Marinette bond over their issues with their love lives.
- On the Ladynoir side, while they're pretending to be a couple in order to throw off Glaciator, Ladybug leans up against Cat and kisses him on the cheek to sell the act.
- They Wasted a Perfectly Good Sandwich: After Marinette leaves André, her friends leave too before Nino gets the chance to get another ice cream cone. Ivan however just eats his ice cream by swallowing it all at once.
- Undercover as Lovers: Ladybug exposits Glaciator's weakness by pretending to be a couple with Cat Noir.
- Wacky Marriage Proposal: Tom proposed to Sabine by hiding a wedding band in ice cream. She almost ate it.
