Bambang's father is okay now, but he is unsure about whether he should return to Jakarta or not. Alan starts to work as a watchman. Prima and Mami Bibir must endure the frustration of dealing with Alexi being a prima donna on set. Pipin notices that Melani is starting to return Bambang's feelings.
This episode provides examples of:
- Big "WHAT?!": What Alan shouts when Pipin tells him the pickup line that Wawan texted to her.
- Cold Turkeys Are Everywhere: Melani wants to jog without thinking about Bambang, but on the road she encounters people calling "Bang" (common Indonesian honorific), "bank" (a homophone of the former in Indonesian), and someone who complains to his friends exactly the way Melani feels about Bambang.
- Dumbass Has a Point: Pipin (perhaps because she doesn't have any preconception that Melani is too good for Bambang) becomes the first to notice that Melani likes Bambang.
- Flashback: When his aunt asks him does he has any problem in Jakarta, Bambang flashbacks to his friendship moments with Alan and Prima. The one problem is... cue a clip of Melani from episode 37.
- Four Lines, All Waiting: The episode further develops Bambang and Melani's romance, starts Alan's storyline as a watchman, and continues Prima working as Alexi's assistant manager, without much intersection between those storylines.
- Literal-Minded: Pipin thinks track record has something to do with a running track. Later, she thinks Alan betting his life is because he is a gambler.
- O.O.C. Is Serious Business: Pipin believes Melani acting unfocused is unusual and means something more.
- Mistaken from Behind: Melani sees someone who wears the same shirt as Bambang and looks a bit like him from behind. Of course, Bambang is not in the same city as Melani, and Melani realizes her mistake after happily approaching the lookalike.
- Shipper on Deck: In response to Melani's kindness, Wawan prays that Melani will get together with Alexi.

- In his first night as a watchman, Alan wields his flashlight as if it is a lightsaber, complete with the visual effect.
- Alan makes two arguing mothers do the 2018 "seberapa gereget" meme.
- Split-Screen Phone Call: Bambang and Melani's phone call starts out this way—Bambang on the left side, Melani on the right—before switching to the regular back-and-forth phone call.
- Written-In Absence: Trisno is said to be away in Bali for a week to explain why he is absent in the Wonosari scenes.
