Alan to Bambang
Alan and Prima directs Bambang into a love confession to Melani. Wawan returns after long being unseen and wants to move to the dorm.
This episode provides examples of:
- Bait-and-Switch Sentiment: After seeing Prima massively wet, Mami Bibir allows him to go home. Prima is touched until Mami Bibir tells him she doesn't pity him but she doesn't want an absent field coordinator tomorrow.
- Breaking the Fourth Wall: After telling Wawan to stop feeding him, Bambang breaks character and tells the camera to stop dramatizing it.
- The Bus Came Back: After getting hit by Chuck Cunningham Syndrome since episode 26, Wawan comes back and explains to Pipin that he was absent because he had to do something in his home village.
- Concussions Get You High: Talked about in episode 36. When a love-struck Bambang starts acting weird in the morning, Melani and Mami Bibir instead think that the hit on the head he got from yesterday is the cause.
- Continuity Nod:
- Upon seeing Wawan comes back, Bambang brings up how Wawan tricked the dorm residents the last time he appeared.
- After seeing Bambang acting weird, Melani considers giving him a CT scan like the one given to Wawan.
- Gray Rain of Depression: Rainfall coincides with Bambang being alone in Bugenville Park waiting for Melani who doesn't know he's there. It becomes Romantic Rain when Melani finally comes and Bambang prepares his love confession.
- Literalist Snarking: Akbar rejects Mami Bibir suggestion of promoting Juna to a leading role because Juna is a "no-name". Mami Bibir proceeds to snark that Akbar is wrong as Juna actually has two names.
- Love Confession: Alan and Prima are annoyed that Bambang hasn't done this already to Melani. After some trickery from them, Bambang prepares a love confession and the episode ends right before Bambang says it to Melani.
- Motivational Lie: Alan and Prima write additional text in Melani's get-well-soon letter to Bambang, adding a request to meet her in a park tomorrow. The intention is to make Bambang stops just giving pick-up lines and goes through with an actual love confession.
