- Person of Holding: Pigeon carries a huge hand cannon somewhere in his feathers and uses it to blow Jason away more than once when he startles him.
- Shout-Out: Sarah wears a Lily Munster dress from The Munsters when he drinks a boy's blood.
- Tomato in the Mirror: Jason turns out to be a vampire when he gets shot multiple times with a gun but revives back from the dead when Sarah bit her.
- Vampiric Draining: Sarah biting the neck and drinking blood of a man.
