The Youth Center hosts a sign-up session for various after-school clubs. Predictably, each of the Ranger teens has their own club. Kim's gardening club proves unpopular, getting no one to sign up. Lord Zedd puts Kim under a spell, causing her to become violently jealous of Trini for having a successful club. He then sends down the Bloom Of Doom, but can Kim overcome her bitterness, alien-inflicted and otherwise, to work together to defeat it?

- Bitch in Sheep's Clothing: Kimberly to ZORDON of all people! When he contacts her, she switches from being a grump to faux-pleasant and even says her morphing call with a smile!
- Deadpan Snarker: Kimberly's delivery becomes considerably snarkier than usual after being pricked by the cactus.
- Green-Eyed Monster: Even before Zedd's influence kicked in, Kim was showing signs upon seeing how popular Trini's club had become.
- Hypocrite: Bulk and Skull give Kimberly a hard time about not having anyone interested in her club, when they had to bribe people to join their club.
- Irony: After Kimberly mocks their club under Zedd's influence, Skull remarks she couldn't be a Power Ranger with such an attitude.
- Jerkass to One: Subverted; Trini is the main victim of Kim's jealousy, but she also gets on Tommy and Bulk and Skull's cases too. The only one she acts pleasantly towards is Zordon when he contacts her and even then it's clear that the spell is making her sarcastic to even him.
- Kick the Dog: Bulk and Skull mock Kimberly for not having anyone in her club. Also Bloom of Doom mocks her on driving all her friends away with her jealousy. However, Trini proves her wrong.
- Pet the Dog: Ernie is sympathetic towards Kimberly when she feels down about not having anyone interested in her club, and after she lashes out at her friends, he gives Tommy a flower to cheer her up. Also Mr. Caplan reveals to Kimberly that no one showed to her club due to him accidentally putting the outside sign in the wrong direction.
- Replaced with Replica: Zedd sends one of his Z-putties in disguise to replace Kimberly's cactus with one laced with his jealousy potion to increase her envy towards Trini.
- Sarcasm Mode: Kimberly, under Zedd's jealousy potion, sarcastically thanks Trini for hogging all people to her volleyball club, thus not leaving anyone for her gardening club. Also, when she's contacted by Zordon, she answers him with a sarcastically nice tone.
- True Companions: Trini arrives to the Bloom Of Doom's dimension to rescue Kimberly after learning of being under Zedd's jealousy spell.
