Kimberly helps her cousin Kelly try to make the junior high cheerleading squad, but Rita plans to use Kelly to lure the Rangers into a battle with the nigh-invincible Lizzinator.

- Captain Ersatz: Lizzinator is Arnold Schwarzenegger if he was reborn as a durable pun-spouting reptilian of alien origins. His name is even a pun on Schwarzenegger's best-known film.
- Car Fu: The Putties try this on Jason during the Lizzinator fight.Jason: Putties can drive? (The Putty tries to run him over) Yep, they can drive!
- Demoted to Extra: Bulk and Skull only appear near the end to make fun of Kelly's tryouts, only for Bulk to split his pants open...again!
- Made of Iron: The Lizzinator is up there with Frankenstein as one of Rita's more durable monsters.
- Super-Strength: Lizzinator can bust down walls, lift boulders and cars, and plow through the rangers like wet cardboard.

- You Are Better Than You Think You Are: Kelly comes to realize this in order to save herself from Squatt and Baboo's clutches...by tiring them out with cheer about how their boss always gets beaten by the Power Rangers! By the time the team shows up, the villains have already retreated meaning all they can do is offer her a ride home.
