Rita uses the Fighting Flea monster to cause Jason to itch really badly. Plus, the Juice Bar is going out of business which has Ernie depressed, so the teens do whatever they can to help him raise money.
Tropes
- Big Creepy-Crawlies: See tropes relating to the flea.
- Creepy High-Pitched Voice: The Fighting Flea.
- Helium Speech: The Flea.
- Inconvenient Itch: Kind of happens when your enemy is a giant flea, and surprisingly it works on targets that don't have fur, like a certain red ranger.
- Hoist by His Own Petard: In a sense, the Putties themselves also experienced the same itch. And they were never shown destroyed, only scratching themselves in misery.
- Just Take the Poster: Bulk does this to keep competition to a minimum.
- Not Helping Your Case: Downplayed as it's after he receives the reward, but apparently, it never dawns on Ernie that the reason his Juice Bar was going under might be because he'd been giving away too much free food.
- Red Eyes, Take Warning: Guess who?
- Slow Motion: The start of the Megazord fight, which surprisingly is done from a low ground angle.
- Tropey, Come Home: The dog, named Pierre, is a missing pet that a wealthy older woman is looking for. When she finds him in the end, she's so grateful that she writes a check for Ernie thus saving the Youth Center from going under.
- Vertigo Effect: Used when Skull sees the Fighting Flea.
