After sailing through obstacles in the Cave of Stuff, Neddy decides to stay as King Neddy, displacing the cave weirdos.

  • A Day in the Limelight: This episode is centered on Grup and his coworkers at the Cave of Stuff instead of the adventures of Prohyas and Vambre.
  • Bee-Bee Gun: Neddy's reward for beating the Cave of Stuff is the Beehive Magisword, which shoots bees, honey, and honeycombs. While fitting for a bear like Neddy, he gives up the sword when he's kicked out of the cave and Grup gives it to the Warriors as thanks.
  • Bears Are Bad News: Neddy is an adventuring bear who crashes at the Cave of Stuff after beating it, much to the dismay of Grup and his coworkers.
  • Crouching Moron, Hidden Badass: Despite being level one monsters, Grup and his coworkers manage to defeat Neddy when properly motivated. Too bad Neddy caught a second wind and trounced them afterwards.
  • Dumb Muscle: Neddy is a beast in combat, but is terrible at remembering names. Grup and his coworkers defeat him once and for all by quizzing him on their names, which he fails spectacularly.
  • Epic Fail: Neddy can't even remember names even right after he's heard them.
Skullivan: My name is Skullivan. What is my name?
Neddy: (panicking) I know this, I know this! I CAN'T REMEMBERRRRRRR!
  • The Generic Guy: Grup's coworker/brother, Prug, is very bland and unremarkable despite being a huge dragon.
  • Loophole Abuse: Prohyas and Vambre can't directly challenge Neddy since he broke no rules, but they can provide suggestions and arms to Grup and his coworkers.
  • Punch-Clock Villain: Literally. Grup and his friends work as the caretakers and encounters of the Cave of Stuff, a level one dungeon for rookie adventurers to start their journeys passing through. Despite being an admitted "professional failure", he takes his role very seriously, doing his best to make the adventurer have a good experience. This is part of the reason they take such offense to Neddy's freeloading: on top of ordering them to serve him, he's interfering with their work.
  • The Thing That Would Not Leave: The residents of the Cave of Stuff suffer this in the form of Neddy.
  • To Be Lawful or Good: Prohyas and Vambre when they're about to take on Neddy realize that they can't, because he technically broke no rules in staying at the Cave. Vambre reluctantly concedes that fighting Neddy wouldn't be honorable or sporting.
