"You, Me and Fifi" is the 10th episode of Season 5 of the new Mickey Mouse (2013) series created by Paul Rudish for the Disney Channel and Disney.com. It is the 88th in the series.
Mickey seeks to win the love of Minnie's feisty little dog, Fifi.
Tropes:
- Adaptational Jerkass: Originally, Fifi was portrayed as a sweet and loving dog who could be a bit feisty from time to time. Here, she's portrayed as having a vicious streak towards anyone who isn't Minnie.
- The Bus Came Back: Fifi, Minnie's dog, hasn't been seen since the 1947 short "Pluto's Blue Note."
- The Cameo: The Dogs Playing Poker shot features many Disney dogs, including Goofy, Pluto, Nana, Copper, the Tramp, Pongo, Sultan (still in footrest form), Tito and Peg.
- Credits Gag: Minnie is heard screaming during the credits as Fifi attacks her.
- *Drool* Hello: Fifi does this to Mickey Mouse.
- Here We Go Again!: At the short's end, Fifi now likes Mickey more than Minnie and puts Minnie through the same paces as Mickey.
- Killer Rabbit: Fifi may seem like a cute puppy, but she's surprisingly vicious towards anyone she doesn't like.
- Literal Cliffhanger: Fifi falls out a window and is hanging by her teeth from a flag. She is about to fall when Mickey catches her in time.
- Pint-Sized Powerhouse: Fifi is able to throw Mickey around the living room, despite her diminutive size.
- Somebody Doesn't Love Raymond: Mickey tries to charm Fifi, but is confused when his attempts fail since he's used to being liked by everyone.
- Surprisingly Creepy Moment: Mickey's greeting to Minnie at the door.Minnie: Mickey? But you're three hours early!Mickey: Ha-ha! Oh, you know...I'm just obsessed with you.
- Ungrateful Bitch:
- In an attempt to get on Fifi's good side, Mickey buys her an assortment of presents, including bones, chew toys, a hybrid SUV, and a pillow made from Mickey's grandmother's wedding dress. Fifi responds by throwing it all out the window.
- Averted when Mickey saves Fifi from falling out the window.
