Toki and Murderface sue Dethklok for their cut of the band's songwriting residuals. After Murderface and Toki get drunk at a French vineyard, the other three members are pissed and put the two on suspension, leading to the two of them starting their label, Murdertooth Records.

Tropes:

  • "Eureka!" Moment: When Toki tells Get Thee Hence if he had a label he'd sign them on the spot, Murderface gets the idea to form a record label.
  • Flipping the Bird: After the court case, Nathan gives the finger to the press while the band heads to the limo.
  • Gratuitous French: Nathan and Pickles apologize to the sommelier in French.
Nathan: "(Your vineyard is beautiful. Sorry for my retarded friends.)"
    Pickles: "(I am sorry...apologies.)"
  • Hookers and Blow: Day 1 of Get Thee Hence's "recording session" had them spend their advance partying with hookers and drugs. Toki reveals the band is strung out heroin addicts by showing the track marks on the lead singer's arm, which Murderface thought were freckles.
  • No-Respect Guy: Murderface is meant to be the head of Murdertooth Records, but Get Thee Hence treat him like a glorified servant and consider Toki his boss.
  • Nu Metal: Get Thee Hence performs this kind of music, which does not mesh well with Dethklok's fanbase.
  • Quality vs. Quantity: Without Murderface and Toki, the band can create songs at an unprecedented pace, but the songs are considered low quality and wrong-sounding by the remaining members who realize Murderface's negativity is crucial to their music sounding right.
  • Removing the Crucial Teammate: The band learns that without Murderface being a giant pain in the ass, they can't make properly angry-sounding death metal.
  • Shout-Out: "America's Super Talent Havers" is one to America's Got Talent.
  • Skyward Scream: Murderface lets one out before the opening intro.
    Murderface: "THIS ISN'T FAIIIIRRRR!"
  • Start My Own: Murderface and Toki start their record label, Murdertooth Records, and sign their first, and only, act off a talent show called Get Thee Hence.
  • Torn Apart by the Mob: Get Thee Hence is rushed by Dethklok's fans where they beat, stab, and pummel them to death for daring to be a genre other than death metal.
  • Vomit Indiscretion Shot: Get Thee Hence, after coming down off of their heroin high, puke all over themselves and each other, deciding Murderface can clean it up.
  • We Want Our Jerk Back!: Nathan, Pickles, and Skwisgaar realize they need Murderface to give them that pissed off metal brutality and ask him to come back to the band.
