As Lan and friends enjoy the world peace after Regal's defeat, the good times don't last long when a giant Mettaur starts attacking. Even worse, the alien Net Navi Duo is coming to Earth to decide if it should be destroyed or spared.
- Arson, Murder, and Jaywalking: The cyber soccer game Lan and friends are playing consist of Lan using Area Steal to teleport Mega Man to the opponent's field. Ice Man uses his blizzard attack to defend Mega Man from an opponent's Fire Arm. Mega Man passes the ball to Glyde, Yai uses a Life Aura chip to protect him from two opponents closing in on him. Glyde is about to score, only for the opposing goalie to blow it towards the protagonist's goal, Guts Man guts punches it back near the opponents's goal with Roll finishing the game by kicking it the ball into the net.
- Attack of the 50-Foot Whatever: The main antagonist of this episode is a giant Mettaur.
- The Bus Came Back: First appearance of Dr. Wily since the end of the Gospel arc.
- The End of the World as We Know It: Wily tells Lan and Chaud that Duo is coming and there's a possibility it will eradicate the planet.
- Disproportionate Retribution: The episode begins with Dr. Wily walking in the rain. A car driving by splashes water on him. Wily pushes some buttons on his can collecting cart and launches a missile at the car.
- Improvised Weapon: Lan and Chaud take control of the nearby construction equipment to stall the Mettaur before Sci Lab's dimensional converters arrive. They try dropping I-beams and later hook it by its helmet and drop it. When the dimensional area is formed, they delete it with a double program advance.
- Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: According to Wily, the dimensional area Regal used to cover the planet was meant to prevent Duo from coming to Earth and destroying everything.
