Neo WWW take advantage of a solar eclipse to launch an attack with Video Man's giant viruses while Lan and Mega Man aren't able to cross fuse as dimensional area generators require sunlight.
- Continuity Nod: The car museum from Route-San's Close Call makes an appearance as WWW and Dingo take the dimensional area cars to allow Lan to cross fuse when the eclipse ends.
- Cue the Sun: Naturally when the eclipse ends, sunlight returns allowing a dimensional area to form for cross fusion.
- No Challenge Equals No Satisfaction: Inukai isn't content with their giant viruses menacing the city with no opponents to challenge them.
- Villain: Exit, Stage Left: Averted. Inukai and Narcy run away after Lan deletes Video Man, only for Guts Man to activate a sewer geyser and lift them into the air allowing the Net Police to arrest them.
- Wham Episode: Beast Man and Video Man are deleted in this episode while Inukai and Narcy are arrested.
- Worthy Opponent: Inukai is impressed by Lan and Mega Man trying to fight Video Man's viruses using computer controlled construction equipment when handicapped by not being able to cross fuse.
