One month has passed since Duo's visit. The peaceful times don't last long when two invisible giant creatures Dr. Hikari dubs "Cyberbeats" appear in the real world and start battling each other.
- Bait-and-Switch: The episode begins with Lan, Chaud, and Laika talking about storming an enemy's headquarters deleting viruses with cross fusion. It turns out to be a training exercise for their new PETs. They're shown having jets during cross fusion allowing them fly.
- The Bus Came Back: First appearance of Bubble Man both in-universe and out. He has a flashback to Colonel freezing him in ice after his time travel incident from Stream. He thaws out in the present day and finds a baby Navi.
- Curb-Stomp Battle: Beast Out Mega Man is able to handily lay down a beating on Gregar and Falzer.
- Foreshadowing: Notice how the baby navi stops crying as soon as Proto Man places it in Mega Man's arms. Later episodes of Beast reveal it was made by an alternative universe of Tadashi Hikari, Lan's grandfather, meant to resonate with Mega Man.
