Lan and Chaud rescue a girl named Anetta. Unknown to them, she's working for Dr. Regal and holds a grudge against Chaud and Proto Man.
- Failed a Spot Check: Averted. Chaud doesn't use the disguised dark chip Anetta planted in his folder like she and Regal planned since he knows he didn't have that chip on his person earlier.
- Mistaken for Murderer: Anetta at first mistakes Proto Man for deleting her navi Silk. Its later clarified to her that Silk immobile from keeping the hospital doors open to allow people to escape during a fire, inched forward just enough to get impaled by Proto Man's sword to somehow keep the doors open.
- Mood Whiplash: A lighthearted episode about Chaud and Anetta's date, even taking into account Anetta's faking at first, and Lan stalking them. It ends on a dark turn with Anetta revealing her dark chip came from Dr. Regal resulting in Yuriko kidnapping her.
- Wham Line: Anetta revealing she got her dark chip from Dr. Regal.
