Summary:
The Grajewel, a traditional Crystalian duel consisting of three rounds where the first person to get a touch on their opponent wins. Takamichi, under the influence of Illusia, believes that Galza has come back to challenge him once more. Worried for their friend's safety, Juru and Shiguru have to figure out a way to get Takamichi to snap out of it. Meanwhile the others have to deal with Cavity Jamen, a Jamenshi that can afflict terrible cavities to his victims.Tropes:
- The Bad Guy Wins: Galza and Yodonna manage to get away with the final Kanaema Stone after Takamichi wins the Grajewel.
- Empty Eyes: When under the influence of Illusia, Takamichi's eyes lose all their shine. It takes Galza destroying the stone pillar for the light in his eyes to come back.
- It Only Works Once: During their Grajewel rematch, Galza tries to pull the same underhanded tactic he did previously. Takamichi is prepared for it this time.
- Lotus-Eater Machine: The Kanaema Stone of illusions, Illusia, traps Takamichi in one, based on his previous regrets of the Grajewel between him and Galza. Under the stone's influence, it causes him to become hyper-focused on his duel and mistakes the crescent stone pillar as Galza.
- Mood Whiplash:
- The comedic MOTW plot gets heavily whiplashed by the more dramatic plot of Takamichi under Illusia's influence and vice-versa.
- The Downer Ending gets whiplashed by the happy Ending Theme as always.
- Pop-Culture Pun Episode Title: The episode title is one to the 2005 film Under the Same Moon (同じ月を見ている/Onaji Tsuki wo Miteiru).
- The Reveal: Oradin reveals that he stopped the Grajewel between Galza and Takamichi is because he saw Galza try to attack the latter on the count of 2 instead of 3.
- Two Lines, No Waiting: The A plot follows Juru and Shiguru trying get Takamichi to snap out of Illusia's influence while the B plot follows the rest of the Kiramagers trying to deal with Cavity Jamen after being afflicted by its cavities.
- Wham Line: When Galza recalls the first Grajewel between him and Takamichi:Galza: You mean the Grajewel where you barely escaped with your life?
