A boy in a New Brunswick (In the initial airing it took place in Maine) town discovers a mystery website with a trapped evil alien that uses the energy of others to get out of his internet prison. (Loose Remake of Children of the Corn).
General Tropes:
- Adult Hater: The strictness of the town's adults is what made Damian vulnerable to being manipulated by Vargos.
- Aliens Are Bastards: Vargos is an alien that was trapped within an internet site, and once freed he declares his intent to destroy the world.
- Bad Boss: Due to being possessed by Vargos, Damian quickly turns on his friends when he doesn't need them anymore.
- Busman's Holiday: And it involves an actual bus. Martin simply wanted to take his class to an amusement park, only to end up getting stranded in a town affected by a paranormal phenomenon.
- Hulking Out: Damian does it after absorbing enough sacrifices made to Vargos.
- La RĂ©sistance: Damian's sister Hayley leads one against her brainwashed brother.
- Only One Finds It Fun: Diana is the only one who was genuinely excited at going at the mathematics' museum. By the end of the episode Martin decides that a visit to the museum isn't so bad when compared to standing in line for hours at the amusement park.
- Phantom Zone: This is where Damian sends all of Vargos' sacrifices.
- Sealed Evil in a Can: Vargos is an alien that somehow was imprisoned within a website.
- Teenage Wasteland: What happens to the town once Damian is brainwashed by Vargos.
- White and Red and Eerie All Over: Vargos' symbol, the robes of his followers and true form are red and white, and certainly eerie.
- You Have Outlived Your Usefulness: Once Vargos is freed from his prison, he wastes no time trying to kill Damian and his sister.
