An ancient ice monster is threatening a mountain resort in the French Alps (Swiss alps in its initial airing) so Martin, Diana, and Java must find a way to stop it before it turns them into ice.
General Tropes:
- Chekhov's Gun: The alien toy that Diana borrowed from Billy comes in very handy when she needs a weapon against the Icetopis.
- Combat Tentacles: The ice monster has tentacles that can inject a freezing liquid.
- Epic Fail: Diana's previous attempts at playing sports were utter failures.
- Human Popsicle: When the monster injects someone with its freezing tentacles, they enter a state of suspended animation. Luckily The Center manages to create a way to reverse it.
- Kill It with Ice: How Martin kills the Icetopis, by turning its own freezing tentacles against it.
- Non-Malicious Monster: While the creature was indeed dangerous, it only attacked those that entered its territory and tried to colonize or develop the mountain it called home.
- A Taste of Their Own Medicine: Martin uses the Icetopis' own tentacle and completely freezes it.
- The One Guy: Martin thought this would be the case when he signed up in ballet class. Turns out several other guys thought the same, so Diana ends up as The Smurfette Principle.
- Our Monsters Are Different: Icetopis looks a like wooly creature with a reptilian face and tentacles around it with tips that inject a freezing substance.
- Screw This, I'm Out of Here!: Martin flees in horror when he realizes the entire ballet class, with the exception of Diana, is mens-only.
- Tunnel King: The Icetopis has made a series of tunnels all around the mountain.
