But unlike his politically skillful maneuvering to refuse the offer from Krishna, Karna this time berates Kunti for “trying to buy his affection and forgiveness”. He then rejects her offer with disgust.
- What The Hell, Mom!: Karna gives Kunti a long epic rant about how she ignored him all this time - except now.
- Dramatic Sit-Down: Karna is so overwhelmed by the emotions of confronting his real mother, that he falls to his knees.Kunti then embraces him.
- Cry into Chest: Karna sobs into Kunti’s chest.
- Nightmare Sequence: Kunti has one, recalling her setting Karna afloat, her recognizing Karna at the proving arena and an extended one where Arjun and Karna have a duel.
