Bo learns that Aoife is alive and has recently escaped from a mental institution. Attempting to track down her mother, Bo finds her cozy with Hades in the penthouse, and her parents tell her that Hades never held Aoife against her will and that Bo was born of love.
Later, Aoife meets Bo at the clubhouse and insists that Bo had visited her in the institution and that together, mother and daughter had hatched a plan to banish Hades back to hell - but Bo hadn't even known that Aoife was alive, let alone visited her.
Through a series of investigations, the gang discover that Hades is able to impersonate Bo, as they share blood, and had previously done so in order to both trick Aoife and to sleep with Tamsin. It's revealed that Tamsin is now pregnant from her encounter with Hades.
Trick sets out to rescue Aoife from Hades, and both Trick and Aoife are slaughtered by Hades and their bodies left for Bo to find. A worried Dyson follows Bo and finds her sitting catatonic next to the dead bodies of her mother and grandfather.
