"Elastico" is the seventeenth episodenote  of Lilo & Stitch: The Series. It first aired on November 17, 2003.

After feeling ignored by Lilo, Stitch joins a circus and discovers another experiment who also found his "one true place" on his own.

Stitch is waiting patiently outside the hula hall as all the students walk out. Mertle brags about how her hula is sure to win the upcoming competition, but Lilo retorts that she's going to have one even better. Lilo heads home with Stitch and practices her hula as she hums a tune, but when Stitch joins in with off-key singing, Lilo realizes that Stitch is wearing her special hula outfit she spent days picking grass for. In a scuffle to get it back, it gets ripped, and Lilo is forced to wear her old skirt instead.

The next day at rehearsal, Stitch offers to be a drummer for Lilo's hula but is rejected and told to wait outside once again until she got finished. Soon after, Stitch sees a circus truck advertising "The Great Elastico," which Stitch recognizes as one of his cousins. He tries to get Lilo to come help him with tracking down the cousin, but Lilo is about to go on stage and tells Stitch to leave her alone and take care of it himself. On Gantu's ship, Gantu is reading the paper when he comes across an advertisement also advertising Elastico. Reuben recognizes the experiment as one that had activated two weeks prior — a clown whose main purpose was to distract enemies with its antics. Gantu heads out to capture the experiment.

Stitch reaches the circus disguised as a clown just as the ringmaster introduces Elastico, who is apparently able to stretch his body at will as part of his circus act. Stitch gets into a cannon and blasts off toward Elastico, who bends his body to cause Stitch to miss. He hits a circus tent pole and falls to the ground completely unharmed. The ringmaster notices that this new clown is indestructible. Stitch tries once more to catch Elastico, but he effortlessly transforms into a ball and bounces around the audience. Stitch is showcased by the ringmaster as a "surprise circus guest" and gives him the name "The Incredible Indestructerado." Stitch gets a taste of adoring crowds all cheering for him and he smiles and takes a bow. This is short-lived, as Gantu storms onto stage and grabs Elastico, causing many guests to flee in panic.

Man: Shark!
Woman: Walking shark!

Stitch chases after Gantu but is caught up in the crowd and loses him. The ringmaster catches up to Stitch and briefly laments over the loss of Elastico, who was the best performer he had. He doesn't seem too broken up over his kidnapping, however, as he immediately offers Stitch a job at the circus as Elastico's replacement. Meanwhile, Gantu is having a hard time keeping Elastico contained on his ship, as he can stretch his body to constantly evade Gantu's grasp. Gantu eventually gets him in the teleporter and sends him to Hämsterviel, unaware that Elastico has slipped out once again and is now roaming the ship.

The ringmaster replaces billboards for Elastico with ones displaying Stitch, as "The Incredible Indestructerado" becomes the circus' main attraction. Stitch meets the members of the circus, who welcome him to their family. His strange appearance fits right in with, after all. Stitch begins performing at the circus, and his act involves getting run over by a truck, then picking up said truck and spinning it around. The ringmaster praises his performance and gives him three special passes to tonight's show. Stitch tries to invite Lilo, but she is occupied with preparing for tonight's hula. She again tells Stitch to just leave for alone, so Stitch places the passes on her bed and walks off, dejected. Meanwhile on Gantu's ship, he is awoken by Hämsterviel who has been teleported empty shackles, and Gantu realizes that Elastico has escaped once again.

Stitch has a brief conversation with the circus' wolfman, who talks about how the circus "family" is what keeps everyone from being lonely, because they'll always have each other. The ringmaster offers a contract to Stitch to join the circus forever and leave home, and remembering how many times Lilo said to leave her alone, he signs the contract out of spite. The ringmaster thanks Stitch and tells him to say goodbye to the life he's known here, because they'll be going to Las Vegas the very next day.

Stitch: Adios, 'Ohana.

Lilo is dressed up and ready for that night's hula when she goes to find Stitch. She initially thinks he is just hiding, but eventually stumbles upon the special passes for "The Great Indestructerado." Meanwhile, backstage at the circus, Elastico returns to the circus by mailing himself in a crate. The circus family is whole again. As Lilo is about to go onstage and perform her hula, Lilo talks to Pleakley about how Stitch ran away and joined the circus. When the curtain opens on Lilo's act, it turns out she's ditched the stage!

Lilo arrives at the circus and sneaks backstage to where Stitch is getting ready for his grand finale. Lilo apologizes and tries to get Stitch to return home, but he says that the circus is his new family, because at least this way he'll never get left behind. The conversation is cut short as Gantu again crashes the show and fires his laser blaster at Elastico. When Gantu isn't looking, Elastico inflates himself into a balloon and floats away. Stitch fires himself out of a cannon knocking Gantu over. Suddenly, the audience thinks the whole thing is part of the show, but Gantu swipes at Elastico and makes him fall. Lilo tosses her special shell necklace meant for her hula to Stitch, who uses it to save Elastico. However, the necklace breaks in the process. Gantu is dubbed "Bandito" by the ringmaster and chased off by the rest of the circus family.

In the aftermath of the show, Lilo reflects that being there for Stitch and helping him find his cousins is what's really important. Knowing that Stitch's heart was at home and not with the circus, the ringmaster tells him to forget the contract so he can be with his real family. The next day, Stitch secretly sets up a hula concert with Lilo's family and some cousins. He also made a replacement necklace for the one he broke the night before. Lilo finally performs her hula, with Stitch drumming on pots and pans in the background.
