El Padre – Trapped in Mexican territory, Chesterfield disguises himself as a priest and Blutch as Manolo his altar boy.

The Blues in Black and White – Chesterfield and Blutch encounter a photographer

Cossack Circus – Chesterfield and Blutch conscript a group of unruly Cossacks into the army.

The David – Chesterfield and Blutch are sent on a spy mission to sabotage the Confederate submarine the David.

The Dirty Five – Chesterfield recruits five deadly criminals, believing he can keep them in line.

Bull Run – Blutch recounts the disastrous battle of Bull Run, in which his squadron took part.

Black Face – Chesterfield and Blutch escort a Negro slave-turned-soldier to the South so that he can inspire the slaves to rise up. However, the slave has his own plans.
