A female acquaintance of Ken Tutuola claims to have been raped back in Rikers by correctional officer Gary Munson (Brad Garrett), who denies the allegation. Barba allows SVU to investigate Munson, but only under the guise of investigating a human trafficking ring as he wants to avoid another NYPD scandal. However, after Munson is arrested and Barba gets an indictment, the ADA finds his life threatened when the correctional officer's union intervenes.
- Actor Allusion: Brad Garret is famous for playing Robert Barone, the cop brother to Ray Barone in Everybody Loves Raymond, albeit in this case, Gary Munson is a dirty cop.
