A former, well-regarded boxing champion is caught in an undercover sting, but to avoid a larger sentence, he offers up information on a child porn ring he is aware of. When SVU decides to crack down on this ring, they investigate the home of an elderly man whose router number one of the ring members is using, a router number that just so happens to trace itself back to the home of Deputy Commissioner of Public Information Hank Abraham, whom they catch in the act of uploading child porn. Abraham's wife, a Corporation Counsel attorney who has worked with SVU before on previous cases, also gets involved, turning the case into a political minefield for NYPD. Meanwhile, Dodds is offered a position with the joint terrorism task force by his father but decides to stay with SVU, boldly going against the Deputy Chief's wishes.
