Rollins is caught in the middle of a classic he-said, she-said when one of her fellow Gambler's Anonymous attendees claims she was raped by her lover. The case is already challenging to prove but the subsequent murder of the accused rapist exposes an in-meeting love triangle and Rollins is forced to publicly admit her membership of said group when put on the stand. Meanwhile, Benson is promoted to sergeant to replace the now-retired Munch and Cassidy is reinstated as a detective to fill Benson's slot.

- Broken Pedestal: Rollins's boyfriend and Gamblers Anonymous sponsor reveals that he cheated on her while giving testimony from the witness stand and the utter lack of integrity causes Rollins to relapse.
- Downer Ending: The guy Amanda is dating, who is also her Gamblers Anonymous sponsor, reveals that he cheated on her on the witness stand, publicly humiliating her. She ends up relapsing and the episode ends with her playing Blackjack in a casino.
