After assaulting Simon Wilkes upon his acquittal, Amaro is facing an IAB investigation and seeks out John Munch for advice. Meanwhile, the department's investigation into a string of male tourist rapes and robberies connected to an online escort ad also leads to the reveal that the mother of Baby Boy Doe (who Benson is currently watching and vying for custody for) is involved.

- Bittersweet Ending: Noah's biological mother is gang-raped and killed before she gives testimony by Little Tino's boss, and he takes responsibiliy for it, preventing the squad for getting justice for her death for now, but Olivia ends up adopting Noah, finally giving him a stable home to grow up in. Amaro ultimately avoids losing his job over assaulting Wilkes in public, but is now on thin ice with the department, and unknown to everyone, Amanda had to pressure Wilkes' wife into lying about who started the fight to exonerate him, which might push it to more "Bitter" than "Sweet".
