- Defiled Forever: The defense asks for a mistrial and gets it. Later one of the rapists offers Heba Salim a settlement if she agrees not to testify and she accepts it. As she explains, her family already sees her as ruined, but the settlement will allow her brother (who worked for the rapists) to finish school.
